WELCOME

Thank you so much for joining me here!

After a decade of devotion to music, I am on the verge of recording my debut album "Lullaby for an Endless Night".

This album has 11 original tracks, written mostly on my recent travels in Central & South America. The album will be recorded & produced in Bali by Raio (Rob Weber), supported by the incredible musicians that I have been collaborating with intensively for the last 3 years.

LISTEN

I have compiled a very simple demo of the album for you to listen to here.
All of these tracks were recorded on my iphone, not with any professional equipment, and most of them are the original recordings that I made for my own records just after writing each song.

I want to share them with you like this so you can feel the original essence and track the evolution from these "pencil sketches" into the masterpieces that they will become in the studio.

FUNDING

To bring this vision to life in its most magnificent form, I need to raise between US $20,000 - $26,000
to cover the cost of:

$ 14,000 - $18,000 -  Recording, editing & production
$ 2,000 - $3,000 -  Collaborating artist wages
$ 1,500 -  Mastering
$ $1,000 - $2,000 -  AI Animation clips for promotion.
$ 1,500 -  Graphic Design & Album Artwork

In the past I have used public crowdfunding platforms to successfully launch my creative projects... however, it is an exhausting process that was extremely taxing on my nervous system and I do not want to bring that amount of stress into my music.

Instead, I am privately sharing this project and asking for financial support from a smaller number of people who...

I feel a deep resonance with,
who know me and the medicine that I carry,
who have abundant resources and
who LOVE my music and want to see it touch the world!

The modern music industry is not really a place to make money these days. For every 100,000 listens on Spotify, the artist receives US $300 - $500. I would love to be able to guarantee that I can pay back money donated from music streams, but I simply cannot say what is possible.

So, in this moment, any donation given needs to come as a gift from the heart to support my music, and any amount is welcome. I will begin recording at the end of October 2023, and will be releasing one track at a time as singles until the whole album is complete.

Please let me know if there is some other way that I can be in service to you in exchange for your donation. If it is of interest to you, I am available to hold a private
ceremony for you in exchange, given that we can be in the same place at the same time.

I will also obviously share with you my journey along the way, sending you the singles as they are made & cite your name in the album credits.

I hope you enjoy listening to this demo and if you feel inspired to contribute funds to get me into the studio, you can find my details here:

LULLABY for an
ENDLESS NIGHT

STORIES BEHIND
THE SONGS

DAUGHTERS OF THE RAGING SEAS

TRACK 1:

Vocal Harmonies & Percussion.
This song came during a Huachuma (San Pedro cactus) ceremony in the Temple of Huachuma in Chavin de Huantar in Peru.

Sitting beside the river, feeling deeply connected to the rhythm of the earth and feeling the Earth longing for all women to return to this instinctual connection.

Estimated cost: $1,500 - $2,000

BORN A NEW

TRACK 2:

Ukulele, Cello, Violin, Percussion & Vocal Harmonies.
This song was written during a 9 day Darkness Retreat, which is a solo meditation retreat in the pitch black dark in Mexico in August 2023.

Written on the last day of the retreat, this song is a self-portrait where I am observing myself as a new person, coming out of the darkness at dawn to bathe in the ocean, feeling completely renewed and free after such a profound transformation.

Estimated cost of production: $2,500 - $3,000

BUHO

TRACK 3:

Guitar, Flute, Percussion & Vocal harmonies.
The owl is a totem of mine and during a road trip through Costa Rica I found a beautiful Barn Owl (Buho in Spanish) that had been hit by a car. I offered some tobacco and sage and took some feathers with me. A few days later I entered into the Darkness Retreat in Mexico where this song was written late at night for the owl.

Estimated cost: $2,500 - $3,000

MAMA JAGUAR

TRACK 4:

Percussion, Ngoni, Overtone Flute & Vocal Harmonies.
When I was in Peru about to start a dieta with Huachuma, I went into the village to find a drum to play while I was in the retreat. I was about to buy one when I asked "What kind of skin is this?" and her reply was "Jaguar". I was initially appalled, and then she told me a story...

The drum was made by a shaman in the jungle.
One day, a very sick Jaguar approached him near his home during the day. This is not normal behavior, and a few days later he found the body of the jaguar very close to his house.

He made a ceremony for her and made several drums from her skin as he believed that she came to him because she wanted to speak, and through the drums, she could speak. When I was inside the darkness retreat, I asked the drum what she had to say, and this song was her reply.

Estimated cost: $2,000 - $2,500

ASTERIA

TRACK 5:

Handpan & Ukelele
Asteria is the Greek goddess of shooting stars.
This song was written in Bali just before dawn. I was awake late in the night after a mushroom journey and saw a series of shooting stars and this song was born in that moment.

This recording was captured spontaneously when I was improvising with a friend on handpan and the song actually has another verse.

Estimated cost: $2,000 - $2,500

LOVE REMAINS

TRACK 6:

Ukulele, Piano, Cello, Vocal Harmonies
This song came to me late one night in Costa Rica after a mushroom ceremony at the Lion Heart Summit. At the time I did not understand where the lyrics were coming from, but the next day I was given a message that my friends young nephew had tragically died in hospital after he had drowned in her pool.

She had asked me to send her a song to support her grief and I believe that this song came to me from his passing soul to help her, and as a reminder of the depth of love that grief illuminates.

Estimated cost: $2,000 - $2,500

THROUGH THE WAVES

TRACK 7:

Guitar, Bansuri, Percussion, Vocal harmonies.
During Covid I was living in Bali and moved from my home in the jungle down to the ocean cliffs in Uluwatu. I was meditating at sunset in the same spot every day and as soon as I came over the mountain toward the sea, I felt my vibration shift so strongly.

Living in that sanctuary was such an amazing support to help me move through the emotional waves of Covid. I was so grateful to be able to cleanse and reset myself every day and this is my love song for the ocean.

Estimated cost: $2,000 - $2,500

TRACK 8:

ENDLESS NIGHT

Ukulele, Violin & Vocal Harmonies.
I wrote this Lullaby for the Endless Night on the 8th day of my Darkness Retreat in Mexico. After a few days of total darkness, your brain begins to secrete DMT. As I received this song I was having very beautiful visions and feeling of euphoria. I had also basically stopped sleeping by this point and had no idea what the time was, and it did not matter because I was very high on the darkness and loving the timeless space so much that I never wanted it to end.

Estimated cost: $1,500 - $2,000

WEMILE OSHUN

TRACK 9:

Kalimba, Ngoni & Vocal harmonies.
This song is a Yoruban chant to the goddess of the sweet waters of fertility & love, Oshun.

This live recording was captured in a spontaneous moment duing an Ayayhuasca ceremony where I felt inspired by the sound of the kalimba and improvised this beautiful melody for this chant.

I also reference the Afro-Brazillian chant to Oshun, "Ori-ye-ye"which is sung in Brazillian Ayahuasca ceremonies to call her spirit.

Estimated cost: $1,500 - $2,000

NOTHING LASTS FOREVER

TRACK 10:

Ukulele, Cello, Vocal harmonies.
This song was written in Costa Rica, the morning after an incredibly challenging Ayahuasca ceremony. In the moment, I felt as if the ceremony would never end and the sun would never rise.

This song is about the imperma
nence of all experience. A simple reminder of how we are constantly blessed with the invitation to begin again.

I sing a Native American chant:
"Wakan tanka tunkashila pilamaya yelow wakan tanka, omakiyayo heyawanna hey ney" which means: "Great Mystery. Grandfather. Thank you Creator God. Please help me."

Estimated cost: $1,500 - $2,000

BUILD ME A TEMPLE

TRACK 11:

Vocal Harmonies
This was the last song I wrote in the Darkness Retreat.
It is a conversation between me & God. It is about devotion, about living Life as worship, seeing the world as a temple, and about seeing all concepts of God as being ultimately one force of pure, life-giving Love.

Estimated cost: $1,000 - $1,500
